Portrait and fashion photographer Ross Garrett, was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. He began his career as a graphic designer after opening multi media studio Injozi shortly after leaving college. However, Ross quickly found himself in the heart of the industry as a photographer, shooting portraits of musicians and working for a number of local advertising agencies.
Known for his creative approach and considered aesthetic he has become a prolific and highly respected individual in the local photography industry. Ross continues to challenge himself with every project using a keen eye and an impeccable attention to detail.
Ross has worked for many advertising agencies and magazines, locally as well as internationally. His editorial clients include: Dazed & Confused, V Man and Wall Street Journal to name but a few. His advertising commissions include the likes of Converse, Marion & Lindie, Windhoek, Anglo Gold, Mini and Nestle.
